These terms govern the use of Babywhale’s services, including the Babywhale Slack App, our website (babywhale.io), and any APIs provided by Babywhale. Please review them carefully.
General Terms
1. Definitions Key terms used in this agreement:
Member: Anyone using our services.
Organization: The group or company that Members belong to and who contracts with Babywhale to use our services.
Service: All Babywhale-provided resources, including the Slack app, website, and related resources.
Administrator: The person within your organization who manages Babywhale, typically the one who first installs it.
Paid Services: Services provided for a fee.
Free Trial: A limited period for testing Babywhale’s paid features.
2. Posting and Changing Terms These terms are posted on our website. Babywhale may update these terms as necessary, with changes posted on the site. Continued use of the service following any updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Users may discontinue the service at any time if they do not agree to the updated terms.
Getting Started with Babywhale
3. Using Babywhale To start using Babywhale, users must accept these terms and install the Babywhale Slack App. The person installing the app becomes the initial Administrator and agrees to these terms on behalf of all workspace members.
Access may be denied if:
The user has previously been barred from using Babywhale.
Incorrect information is provided, or necessary information is not supplied.
4. Availability of Services Babywhale aims to be available around the clock. However, maintenance, updates, or unforeseen events may require temporary service interruptions. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible, and any downtime will be minimized.
Paid Services and Payment
5. Paid Service Access Babywhale services are primarily paid. First-time users receive a free trial to explore Babywhale’s features. After the trial, the Administrator can pay to maintain access for the organization. Pricing and payment terms are detailed on our website.
6. Payments and Billing Paid services require payment as specified on our site. Payments are typically prepaid and recur monthly. Canceling a service does not entitle the user to a refund for partial months. Price changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance.
7. Canceling Paid Services Users may cancel within 7 days of purchase if:
They have not used the paid service since purchasing.
Babywhale has been unavailable due to technical issues. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Mid-month cancellations are effective immediately, with no refunds for remaining days in the month.
Service Modifications and Management
8. Service Updates and Changes Babywhale may modify its services over time. These changes may include adding, removing, or updating features. Significant changes will be communicated, and efforts will be made to minimize disruptions.
9. Limitations of Use Babywhale services should support positive workplace culture and must not be misused. Users are prohibited from:
Sharing access with unauthorized users.
Using the service in ways that violate laws or infringe on others’ rights.
Violations of these terms may result in restricted or suspended access.
User Responsibilities
10. Responsibilities as a Member By using Babywhale, users agree to:
Avoid using Babywhale for harmful or inappropriate activities.
Securely manage login information.
Respect Babywhale’s intellectual property and brand guidelines.
Notifications and Legal Notices
11. Communication and Notifications Babywhale will communicate important updates via the Babywhale Slack App or the email associated with the user account. Users are responsible for staying informed and responding to notifications as necessary.
12. Use of Organization Branding Babywhale may display an organization’s name or logo on its website or promotional materials. Organizations may contact Babywhale to request removal of branding if desired.
Liability and Dispute Resolution
13. Liability Babywhale strives to provide a smooth experience but is not responsible for:
Disputes between members or organizations.
Interruptions due to unforeseen events (e.g., power outages, natural disasters).
Service interruptions or personal device issues outside of Babywhale’s control.
14. Dispute Resolution Disputes will be addressed in good faith. For unresolved disputes, South Korean law applies.
